Hola amic!

Welcome to my food blog: La Sopa de Ceba (onion soup in Catalan, my mother tongue). My name is Ramon Sanabria, and I am passionate about gastronomy, music, and languages. I work in all three fields (at different levels), and try to find cross-inspiration and synergies between them. It keeps me fascinated that such different fields can share a common ground: culture.

In this blog, I compile some restaurants  and bars (or pubs, depending on your dialect) where I like to eat and drink respectively (or not). For completeness, I also included places that I think you should avoid (in different degrees).

This blog was a present for a very important person: Raquel Lamazares, who discovered to me the importance of gastronomy, food, and culture (and links between them). Thanks to her, I started this amazing journey around tables, dishes, and people from all around the globe.
